Many people ask me this question:
“Why do you love photography?”
When people ask me that question,
I feel like I have to sit across from them on a comfortable, antique leather chair in front of a fireplace, grab a glass of scotch on the rocks and have a cigar in my hand.
But the reality is I’m just imagining all that in my head while I tell them why I love photography.
Here is the ultimate reason why I love photography.
Photography to me is…
“Capturing the beautiful split second, timeless memory of this world and its people made by its Creator.”
There is something beautiful when that split second memory is captured into the lens of the camera.
Capturing the beautiful nature, capturing the beautiful faces, capturing the creation that God has created.
It leaves me breathless.
God gave us eyes to see the world through the lens of our eyes.
God gave us the Bible to see the world through the lens of God.
God gave me the camera to see the world through a different lens.
To incorporate all three lenses, it is the most rewarding experience ever.
Capturing what God has created, it bring Genesis to reality.
It gives me a firmer belief that God created and nothing was or is an accident.
It gives me firmer foundation that I am not a mistake.
You are not a mistake.
You are not a mistake to be born into this world.
God has created you because He loves you.
He has a great purpose and plan for you on this Earth.
How do I know that?
Because you are beautiful.
Because you are handsome.
I encourage you to do something.
Capture your self on a camera and look at that pictures and say,
” ‘Insert Your name’ , you are not a mistake. God loves you and he has a great purpose for you”
“For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.”
I pray that you would see how beautiful you are.
